Armoury

“The Old Armoury” was saved from the wrecking ball by Georgetown Globe Productions. We are a not-for-profit community group of volunteers with a long history of presenting quality musical theatre in Halton Hills. Globe’s membership is comprised of individual and family active members, associate members, patron-active members, patrons and honorary life members. Over 300 volunteers are involved with Globe on a yearly basis, including 100 youth and their families.

 

Georgetown Globe Productions has committed to preserve and renovate “The Old Armoury” at the Georgetown Fairgrounds Park. The project will transform this important piece of our history into both a home for Globe Productions and a multi-purpose centre for arts, culture and heritage.

After purchasing the Armoury at Georgetown Fairgrounds and receiving the grant from the Trillium Foundation, Globe got to work and in only one year renovated the building we now call our home. See the work in progress.

Well, that magical "rent-free" day is almost here as we prepare to leave Norval and move into our new home at the Armoury.Take your pick of committees below.  We need all the help that we can get!  Everything must be cleared out and cleaned up by mid-April.
