Annie to be staged next month
Mari MacDonald says she’s very much like her character Annie in the upcoming Globe Productions Youth Company presentation — at least the loud part.
The 12-year-old actress, who has been doing theatre since she was six, is thrilled to play the main role of the popular children’s musical, a timeless story about a young orphan who sets out to find a family to call her own.
It takes to the stage of the Mattamy Theatre at the Milton Centre for the Arts on May 11 at 8 p.m., May 12 at 2 and 8 p.m. and May 13 at 2 p.m.
