Update on the status of our operations

The Globe Executive has the following update for you regarding the status of our operations.

Dear friends:

As always, Globe Productions remains committed to abiding by all Public Health orders pertaining to the COVID-19 outbreak and The Old Armoury remains  closed at this time. Sadly, the pandemic simply refuses to release its grip on the world and allow for any immediate return to normality. As such, we have the disappointing news that we will not be able to proceed safely with staging Fiddler on the Roof JR. and Little Women in May and June as we had hoped.

We understand how disappointing this will be for everyone. It was yet another difficult decision for the Executive to make but we feel strongly and unanimously that it is the most prudent and responsible one.

While we are guardedly optimistic that we will be able to present a live performance in some format by this fall, our strategic plan is for Globe to return to our regular slate of programming beginning in January 2022. We are still hopeful to include Fiddler JR. and Little Women next year but of course we will have to remain flexible as the coming months evolve. Later this year when our scheduling can be confirmed, the Executive will decide on the best approach to proceeding.

We encourage everyone to stay in touch with your friends at Globe and watch for future announcements. Please consider getting involved with “At Home With Globe” or “At Home JR.” by auditioning or tuning in to support our great performers!
Thank you so very much for remaining committed to Globe. Please continue to be safe and look after your families and friends! Remember, the curtain WILL rise again!!!

With respect,

Your Globe Executive...Mark Llewellyn, Melissa Fischer, Leann Playter, Holly Marshall, Laura Hachey, Fioretta Perta and Nanci McNeil-Llewellyn
