Annie ‘grabbed the hearts of the audience’
Set against the Depression years in New York City, Globe Production’s Youth Company brought Annie to the stage of the Milton Centre for the Arts last weekend.Sporting a cast of nearly 50 kids, the production grabbed the hearts of the audience from the opening overture to the closing number. With such a huge cast, there were a few members who stood out in the performance.

Book sale to aid The Old Armoury building fund
Source: The IFPFraser Direct owners Al and Lois Fraser are joined by HR manager Colleen McClure (right) to promote the upcoming Fraser Direct Charity Book Sale on Saturday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Old Armoury, just inside the gates at Georgetown Fairgrounds. Since all the books are donated by Fraser Direct’s publishing clients, low pricing ($5 for hardcovers and $3 for soft covers) is possible.
